Polish economy has outpaced Germany’s growth for much of the last decade
Over the past decade, Poland has repeatedly grown faster than Europe’s largest economy. World Bank Data indicates that Poland’s annual GDP growth has outpaced that of Germany every single year over the last decade, reflecting the country’s continued structural convergence. The “Polish Economic Miracle” has secured the nation a place in the top 20 global economies, reaching the Trillion-dollar GDP mark in the fourth quarter of 2024. This achievement transitions Poland from an “emerging” economy suffering from residual post-soviet economic strain to a global economic powerhouse.
